Of Gods and Goddesses

               The Killers

Dominar

The soft pads of her fingers caressed his cheek as her thumb gently moved across his chin. It was a dream. He opened his eyes and was immediately drawn to her sapphire blue eyes.  It had to be a dream, he couldn’t move.  Her fingers blazed trails of intense arousal down his neck, shooting near-painful jolts straight to his cock.  “Your name, I must know…” his tone was almost pleading, but  she just graced him with a husky laugh.  Her hand traveled to his nipple, to circle and tweak and tease.

“Even if I tell you, you will not remember.” She laughed again.

Her other hand joined the torture of his nipples. Traveling down the length of his abdomen to slowly play amongst the rippling muscles, tracing each line, causing him to  gasp sharply when her nails would rake him every so often. He closed his eyes, shutting out the vision of her mesmerizing blue depths, and groaned.  “Tell me your name, or release me from this madness!”

His voice shook in desperation, even as he was trying to make demands, and he knew it.  He hated himself for it.

Her soft voice called to him again, making him open his eyes.  “You know the rules, you created the game.’  Her fingers traveled to his hips, playing with his soft skin just inside his hipbones, drawing small circles moving closer towards the thatch of hair surrounding his penis.

“Is it my fault you tempted the Fates?” Her fingers moved into his hairline slowly.  “You really should have known better.”

The growl came from deep in his chest.  Her fingers moved around the base of him encircling his cock just enough to ensure his rigidity, only to move on to his inner thighs, nails scraping away from his center to his knees.  “If … I ever … find you…aaaah!”  Her fingers played over the sensitive skin at the back of his knees, stroking lightly. Her touch disappeared, as if it were never there.  “No. Wait!”  The desperation in his voice made him cringe.  He needed her touch. He needed to know.  He needed her.  “Say my name….”

“Dominar….”

He sat up fully awake, shocked out of his dream, trails of fire running from his chest to his abdomen.  Trying to remember the dream he rose from the bed and out onto the balcony. The vision of a full moon over the water at the edge of the ocean teasing him. Damn. Why can’t I remember?  Just one fragment remained, as always.  He rubbed his chest as if he was trying to grasp the memory of something elusive that he wanted to know, but just wasn’t there. He grasped the marble railing in frustration, as if trying to wring some small bit of information from it.  Nothing more, no clues.  Never was.  His muscular naked body shimmered in the moonlight as he tried to glean something out of the brands running down his chest.  This was all he ever seemed to recall, and all too soon it too would disappear.  Every full moon it was the same.  Like some kind of torture he was forced to endure.

Making himself  move, he walked with angry strides through his bedchamber.  He was not a man used to not knowing.  With the powers of the God-killers at his finger tips, nothing ever escaped his notice or knowledge.

One of the women in the bed rose as if to follow him, the bed sheet falling away from her lush breasts.”Domi, is there something wrong?”    Her long auburn hair falling in tumbling waves down her back.  Her bed mate curling deeper into the pillows, completely satisfied.

He stopped and stared at the two women as if he had just remembered there presence.  And found them lacking.  “Get dressed, and get out.” he snarled over his shoulder as he left the bedchamber.

The women looked at each other stunned, but knew better than to argue or follow him in his present mood.

He moved through the palace like a panther stalking it’s prey.  If one could call a fully loaded bar with lethally strong spirits prey.  He chose a dark amber brew – not questioning its origin – and poured three fingers into a crystal glass.  Downing the brew, he poured another.  It seemed as if nothing was going to kill his erection.  Feeling it get more painful by the second he knew what he needed to do, but hated doing it.  just having spent what he thought had been a satisfying evening in bed with two women, one would figure his libido would be sated for at least twenty four hours.  Obviously this was not the case.  He refilled his glass once again, grabbed a towel and moved toward the couch.

He realized he could not remember the names of the women that he had just tossed out of his bed, even though they had been very willing and capable of keeping him warm and diverted, something was missing with them.  Tossing off those disturbing feelings, he started stroking himself.  relaxing back on the couch, he imagined himself with the women again, having one of them wrap her breasts around his cock while the other moved over him to suck on his nipples as she dropped her breasts in his face.  He could almost feel the warm flesh of her breasts on him, and the thought made his balls draw tighter.  The memory of the way one of the women had manipulated his cock with her tongue finally brought him to the edge where all thought left him weak and breathless, wanting to explode.  Just as the orgasm hit him, the laughing blue eyes were there.  Every time he came it was if she was watching, and it just made him cum harder.  Wanting her to see, wanting her to know that when he found his release it was just for her.  In the beginning it confused and embarrassed him to see her eyes, but now it was more of a feeling that he was performing for her.  Showing her how good it could be.

He knew those eyes, all too well.  They belonged to the guardian, the one woman he had never bedded.  And this disturbed him deeply.  Until he had met her there was not a woman alive that could not resist him.  though his conquests were legendary,  she had always managed to evade him.

He relaxed back onto the couch and cleaned himself off with the towel.  He enjoyed the feel of the rough cloth against his sensitive skin. went in search of his favorite night-time fun.  Video games.  Having received more ribbing than necessary over his choice of hobbies from his fellow God-killers, Dominar still loved them, and went lovingly to the his new PS3, as if being drawn by the song of a siren.  Settling into his favorite chair he popped in his new DMC game and commenced to while away a few mindless hours till the sun came up.  Then it would be time to search for the perfect wave.

Chapter 1

The commotion in the ante chamber her assistant used brought Nei back to the present. She had been researching information on the African Dung Beetle.  It seemed there was one roaming through a few of the temples on Olympus.  “Goddess Athena please, let me announce your presence -“

“No!  I will see the Guardian now!”

Well, someone seems to be in a bit of a snit…

Nei rose from her chair just as Athena came storming into her chamber.   The usually calm goddess was in a terrible state, her perfectly coiffed hair in disarray, and her shroud had seen better days.  “I want to know what you intend to do about that creature!”  Athena’s priestesses fluttered around her, trying their best to tame the goddess’ errant hair and calm her.

“Good morning,  Goddess.  How may I be of service?”  Nei politely bowed to the goddess and used her voice to calm the aggravation she could feel rolling off the goddess in waves.

Athena threw herself onto the couch, noticeably starting to relax.  “I’m sorry, my dear.  It’s just that it has been a while since I’ve seen Vega, and  now that nasty scarab has made an appearance in my temple.” She threw her arm over her eyes.  “My temple!”  One of the priestesses started massaging Athena’s neck as another spread her thighs and opened her nether lips.

There was nothing unusual about the happenings on her couch.  Most of the gods used sex as a ‘winding-down’ tool after periods of aggravation or arguments.  Instead of beating the crap out of each other, they usually took themselves off to an orgy.  And as far as Nei could see anything to keep the peace was fine with her.  And besides, it kept Zeus happy – not having to moderate in minor squabbles of his children.

Nei went to the large window behind her desk and stared out over her private garden.  “I have been doing some research. It seems rather strange for a scarab to be here on Mount Olympus. Have you heard any news of any disagreements between the pantheons?”

The  goddess sighed.  “No, nothing. Why do you ask?”  Athena shuddered as the priestess ran her tongue around Athena’s clit.

“I was thinking that the Egyptian gods might be upset over some slight.”

The priestess between Athena’s thighs raised her head  “Goddess, may I….”

“Yes, Amora….”  Athena moaned as the priestess wet her finger in her puss and slid it down to her puckered anus.  Amora slid her finger in and continued to gently swirl her tongue around the goddess’ clit.  Athena gripped the back of the couch, starting to writhe her hips on Amora’s face.  “I have heard…..oh……no news…… of any……disputes!”

Amora skillfully worked her tongue and fingers in unison to help her goddess to fulfillment.  Nei watched quietly as the Athena found her release.  The goddess arched her back off the couch and wrapped her beautiful long legs around Amora’s head.  As Athena relaxed the spell of aggravation that had consumed her was broken; her hair and clothes returning to their normal state of perfection.

The Priestesses withdrew to stand by the door, and Athena straighten herself on the couch.  “You will let me know as soon as you have some news to report?”

The women stood up from the couch, as if they had just had tea.  “Yes, of course.  The thing that troubles me is the scarab’s ability to come and go at will without my being able to sense it.”  Nei said with a frown, walking with Athena to the door of her chambers.  She shielded the two of them with a quick quieting spell so none of the other occupants of the chambers  could hear her explain.  “You see, during the -” she rolled her eyes “…shall we call them the childish wars? – several of the God-killers were defeated.  There were a few souls that were completely unrepentant and were reincarnated into, um, lower life forms.”

Athena gasped.  “The scarab -“

“Yes, the scarab.”  Nei quickly interjected to calm the goddess.  “But don’t worry, it has minimal powers.  It is the Omnipotent One’s way of punishing evil.   As far as I can tell, it is searching for something or someone.  Since it left your temple without doing any kind of damage, I can only say you need not worry anymore.  It doesn’t seem to return to a place it has previously visited.”

Athena sighed in relief   “Yes, it’s just that…..Bugs…..”  she shuddered.

“I know, bugs belong in the garden.  My guardians and I will make sure this gets resolved.”  Being sufficiently reassured, Athena and her priestesses departed the chambers, and Nei returned to her desk.    She sat behind the massive marble desk and thought to deal with her own pent-up sexual frustration.

The laptop brightened.  “Someone seeks you…”  Ugh.  ‘You’ve got mail’ would suffice.  She knew Delphi’s vacation was coming up.  The oracles never let her forget her duties to them.  And to think how desperately she had wanted this job oh so many millennia ago.  To be able to serve and protect,  to do something good and right,  to prove to all those nay-saying fuckers that I’m NOT evil, just cause I have a ‘pottie-mouth.’

What was dad’s favorite saying…”Be careful what you wish for  – it’ll bite you in the ass.”  She considered herself bitten.

<duties also include finding and reaching mortals destined to be oracles>

Sighing heavily she opened the file to find a three page dissertation on how all work and no play makes Jane a dull girl, followed by a lengthy post script indicating when Delphi expected to be picked up for the start of her vacation, dress codes, and various other needless incidentals that the oracle seemed to believe truly important.

Yay.

Wasn’t a vacation all about having fun, being spontaneous,  flying by the seat of your pants kinda thing?  She closed the laptop and looked at the piles of paperwork scattered across her desk.  She really couldn’t bitch.  Del had put in for her month 100 years ago. And she always turned in her request as she was returning home.  And besides, Del had requested a more sedate spot this time – a secluded beach resort with lotsa hot guys.  “Not like I can control the ‘hot guys’ thing, but I might have a friend that can recommend a few quiet resorts.”

Nei picked up her cell phone and dialed, hoping he hadn’t turned it off.

“Yo-Nei.  Long-time no-hear”

The voice on the other end of the line would make ninety-nine point nine-nine-five percent of all females turn into warm Jell-O.  What most females saw in him she couldn’t understand – well maybe…  Just because he was tall, dark and handsome, had a voice that would have the Ice Queen of Pluto screaming in orgasmic pleasure (in two point five seconds) and a body that is USDA Grade A Prime Beef…  Yeah that might be it.  But to her, he was just a big brother.  Older by 500 years, he had always treated her with kindness and respect.

“Hey Vega. How’s it goin?” She tried to sound chipper, but knew she was falling short.

“What’s wrong?” he always knew.  Dammit.

“Ya know, it’s just creepy the way you do that.”  she laughed.

His laughter from the earpiece was some how soothing on her nerves.  “Come by the club tonight.  I’ll have something for you.  And relax.”

“She didn’t…”  something akin to dread filled her.

“You know she did.  Got the message this morning.”

Crap.

“I like the touch about finding love in the most surprising places.”

Double-Crap.

“Are you gonna follow the dress-code?”

“Ugh.  Del sent it to everyone?”  astonishment warred with anger  “How exactly does one resurrect an oracle?” Nei pushed her head against the back of her chair and squeezed her eyes closed. Sometimes the lack of awareness her charges gave to their own security completely astounded her.

His resounding laughter at her discomfort seemed to mellow her anger. “Come to the club tonight, ‘Jane’ and maybe you’ll learn to loosen-up.”

“Ok, Whistle-dick.” Laugh that one off, buddy.  He did.

She closed the cell phone on his laughter and had to chuckle to herself.  Did he ever take anything seriously?  Staring at her desk filled with paperwork, and dreading tonight, Nei wished she could just get this month over with.

Oracles on vacation usually spelled trouble.  She could understand informing her brethren, and the need for heightened awareness.  Seeing as how one of the Oracles being ‘out to lunch’ always made the prophecies harder to contrive.  But hell, they made nothing easy on the rest of the world.  Pfft… more like riddlers

With the bat of an eye she cleared the stacks of paperwork so beautiful black marble of the desk was once again visible.  I should do that more often…

She stood and stretched her lithe frame and deciding to meditate in the garden for a bit before having to go pick up her charge.  The one form of rest and relaxation she allowed herself. It always helped to clear her mind before having to deal with the Oracles.

Sitting on the shaded stone in the middle of the garden, she was once again thankful that she had made the Conditions of Vacation.  Being bound by the conditions, Said Oracle could not be approached for prophecies.  Nor could they speak in their usually cryptic phrases.  In the beginning the conditions were a little hard on the girls, but necessary.  Once every Tom, Dick and Hermes discovered that they couldn’t pop in and receive a ‘quickie-prophecy’, they learned to stay away.  And it spared her from dealing with their never-ending ‘riddle-speak’ that the Oracles seemed to love torturing everyone with.

She sat upright on the stone and thought about the message Del had sent.  Love – yeah right.  Like I’ve got the time for it!  She rolled her shoulders wondering if a good workout might not have been better.  Rolling her head around to try to loosen the muscles in her neck, she closed her eyes and tried to clear her mind.

The visions came tumbling towards her and as usual made no sense.   Like a  large  TV screen they moved across her mind, the full moon over a beach at night,  a garden of flowers she had never been to, and the eyes of the deepest violet she had ever encountered.

Dammit!

She snapped her eyes open, knowing they would not disappear once the came to her.

Time and time again she had tried to wipe them away, but they always persisted.  Mocking her, laughing at her. Daring her to not fall deeper into their depths.  She stood up and shouted “I will not…”   Suddenly, she felt very foolish for yelling at her flowers. Oh damn.  I will not let him get to me.  She stood up and turned from the garden.  The voice in her head told her she was running, but she really didn’t give a damn.  More like a strategic retreat…

Needing a distraction, she went in search of her father.

Chapter 2

Finding her father was never really a problem for Nei,  She was Zeus’ only child that was never officially given her own temple.  This really did not bother her, not having to deal with priestesses and the like was a boon in itself.  Between her duties, and commanding the elite guards of Mount Olympus her days were full.   Though why Zeus insisted on keeping the Guardians of the Gate to ‘protect’ the kingdom, was a puzzle to her.  It wasn’t like they were under constant threat of invasion, or that the gods couldn’t defend themselves.

Stepping into Zeus’ inner sanctum, Nei found him sitting in his favorite chair in front of the cold fireplace, staring into his goblet with a worried frown. “Father, what troubles you?”  She loved and respected the god beyond all else.  She went to his side, her long guardian robes flowing behind her.  Kneeling beside him she looked into his face hoping she was not the cause of his anxiety.  She knew what she was, and no matter how many times Zeus tried to console her, she still worried that her presence was too much of a burden for him.

He spoke slowly, as if to measure every word.  “Delphi’s message this morning.”  Zeus covered her small hand on the arm of the chair.  “She’s right, you know… you really do need to get out more.”

She really hated to be the source of his woes.  “You have many children to worry over.” trying to remind him of his other children that loved to run amok, causing mischief wherever they went.

“Yes, and none of them worry me as much as you.”  Great – another lecture about ‘Find a man, settle down, give me grand-babies…’   “When you finally decide to call your mate, you will remember…”

Her beautiful sapphire blue eyes misted with her love for him.  “I love you, Dad.”  Forgetting about the dread of his usual lectures, she smiled and felt her love for him flow from her.  Placing her free hand on top of his she tried to comfort him as best she could.  “And besides, you’re not a forgettable kinda guy.”

***

Zeus smiled into her eyes, always amazed at the power she held and yet refused to wield.  Remembering the times that so many of the other gods whined to him to have her destroyed, and had only her mother and himself to protect her.  Like anyone could harm her…  There had been so many who had tried, and failed.  Yet she had always been merciful, never hurting even the smallest ant in her garden. “Your mother worries too.”  He straightened himself in his chair.  “I promised your mother not to nag you, so I won’t lecture you this time.  But please…”

She chuckled and squeezed his hands “I’ll try.  I’ve got to get going, you know how Del is about her time off.”

He laughed.  “You can only pray she doesn’t con you into wearing the veils again.”  the thought made him sober a bit, and made her groan.

***

Many of the priestesses of the oracles still viewed her with guarded looks, and the one leading her to Delphi’s rooms was no different.  Not wanting to know her cynical thoughts Nei tuned her out.  Why I need a guide, when I know this temple better than they do is beyond me…

The Priestess opened the doors to Delphi’s private chambers and announced her.

***

“And not a moment too soon…..you’re not wearing that!”   Delphi glared at her guardian’s robes.  “I do recall specifically saying white, slinky, sexxy.”

Defending herself Nei groaned “Well, it is white…” Nei looked like she had just crushed the whole mood of the vacation. “…and besides,  you were always the one with the better fashion sense.”

“Sucking-up will get you everywhere, my dear.”  Delphi’s welcoming embrace showed her true feelings.  Having been best friends for so long, she couldn’t stay angry with Nei for too long. “And yes, you’re right.  I’ve already got your wardrobe prepared.”  Nei plastered her brightest smile on her face hoping it looked sincere. “Don’t give me that look…You’ll be – we’ll be fabulous.  Absolutely knocking them dead!  Now get changed, we’ve got a party to get to!”

Delphi’s happy sing-song voice had Nei groaning. She followed Delphi into the bedchamber looking fearful.  “What kind of designer torture device have you created for me this time?”  Delphi shot her a raised eyebrow.

A priestess showed her to the boxes that were hers, opening them and revealing the outfit.  “Such big boxes, for so little clothing…”.  The white dress the priestess pulled from the box was no more than a band of material that would barely covered her rear and a loose halter style front.  Made of silky Lycra it shimmered in the soft candle light of the bedchamber.  “Might I hope for a jacket?  We do have to meet a friend first….”   Laying her sword on the bed, she started stripping out of her robes.

Nudity had always been a non-issue on Mount Olympus, most of the denizens were usually walking about half naked.       Delphi gave her a smirk “Just do that little trick, and get dressed, missy.  We’re running late.”  While Delphi gave her priestess her instructions, Nei turned to the to the bed.  Picking up the sword, she spoke the words of enchantment, and it slid up into her arm.  Walking back to the boxes she shook out the dress, hoping for more to be revealed.  She held the dress up and looked at it admiring the way the candle-light shimmered over the fabric.  Delphi watched her as she slipped into the dress, trying without much success to make the material cover more of her assets than the dress was designed to.

“Stunning, absolutely stunning!”  Delphi’s words made her smile.  “Now get your shoes on while I do your hair.”  Nei bent over to get the shoes out of another box  “Oh my – none of that….well, unless he shows up…”

“Don’t worry, there will be even less of that if he shows up.”  Nei smiled at her in the mirror as she sat in the chair.  “Why is it that you’re the only one that cares how I look on your vacation?”

Delphi wrestled with the mass of ash-blond hair trying to decide on a style.  “Impact, sweetie. All eyes must be on us for me to have fun.” and winked. Pulling the brush through Nei’s hair she decided just to pull it up in a banana clip.  “There, simple, yet elegant.”  Her bright smile showed her pride in her friend.  “You’re so beautiful, I don’t know why you bury yourself in work.”

“Are we done?” changing the subject, Nei stood and readied herself.  “Don’t want to keep your beaus waiting.”

Delphi handed her a long white leather coat. “Ready whenever you are.” Nei walked to the back wall of the bedroom and moved her hand in a circle, creating a portal that would lead them to the club.  “After you, my guardian angel.”  Tossing the jacket over her shoulders, Nei rolled her eyes and opened the portal that would bring them to the mortal world.

No one noticed the dung beetle that snuck into the trunks the priestess was preparing.

Chapter 3

Dominar was just stepping out of the shower when the wave of power blasted through the bathroom of his rented suite.  It took him off guard, and almost landed him flat on his ass.  As it was he skidded half-ways across the bathroom and slammed into the wall on one knee.

Straightening and getting his bearings was another matter.  Dominar heard his phone ringing in the other room.  Cursing the heavens, he slowly moved towards the sound; glad that he had already finished shaving.

“Hey buddy, check your messages lately?”  Vega’s amusement did little to improve his mood.  Slapping his cell phone closed he dropped his towel, still hearing the mocking laughter in his head.  He moved to his laptop and plunked the start key.  “Someone Seeks You!”  chimed through the speakers of his stereo.  Groaning, he plopped into his desk chair.

“Damned oracles and their damned tricks….what now?”   Opening the file, he discovered the cause of the blast of power – the Oracle’s in town.  Yay.  And bringing the Guardian Bitch with her.  Double yay. He recalled the last time the Oracle had decided to grace him with her presence.  The two were dressed in veils, and the guardian had been really steamed.

He picked up his cell and called Vega back.

When he answered the phone, Vega was still laughing.  “Yuck it up there, chuckles.  I’ll be around in a minute.”  Not wanting to let him get a word in Dominar slapped the phone closed again.  At this rate he was going to need a new phone.

***

As she stepped through the portal and into the club Nei released the power that displaced all demons and gently removed all mischief makers within a 5 mile radius of the club.  It also gave all of Vega and Dominar’s minions fair warning that the guardian was in town.  With a smile of self-satisfaction she turned to Delphi “The coast is clear.”

“Literally.”  The sarcasm from the oracle was tangible.  “You do know I sent a message, right?”

“Yeah.  It’s just my way of saying ‘Hi’.” She walked confidently backwards into the club with her arms spread; a wide smile on her face. She spun around and walked farther into the club, shrugging off her coat, and scanning for possible threats.  The portal closed behind them and disappeared.

“I think I’ll go downstairs and get a drink.  It’s Party time!”  As Delphi wandered off Nei shook her head, trying not to think of all the wrong that could happen.  She walked to the bar trying to tune out all the voices in her head, and ignoring all the men staring at her butt as she walked by.  Oh grow up.  She found her white Russian waiting at the bar, and claimed it.  Turning toward the balcony overlooking the larger portion of the club she found him.  Lounging against the railing, and looking quite shocked was Vega.

“Don’t you dare laugh.” Her mental message sent along with a warning glare.

“D. A. M. N.  How’d she con you into wearing that?”  His eyes were glowing behind his sunglasses.

“Careful Veg, your gonna melt your shades,”  She walked up to the railing and looked out over the crowd. “and besides, where is your usual crowd of admirers?”

He laughed softly “A little glamour goes a long way.  I’m a five foot computer geek tonight.  Too bad you can’t see it – it’s really quite impressive.  I still trying to figure out how the gods packed all that power into such a small package…”  His grin was almost irritating, as he raked his eyes over her body noting every detail.

She turned towards him, “Pfft, five-foot-six is not exactly small.”  They both turned and watched the flow of the crowd in companionable silence.  Through the centuries of their friendship she had learned that there were not many people this man liked, much less trusted.  She knew his guard was up and could understand his reasoning.  Neither being had been able to fully trust, and it was in it’s own way a drain on one’s soul.  She leaned over the railing keeping an eye on Delphi.

“So, what’s your big plans for the month?”  He turned as if bored with watching the people gyrating on the dance floor below them.

Nei grimaced and twirled a finger in the air “Party hearty, and lay on the beach.  Woo. Friggin. Hoo.”  Her sarcasm won her a lifted eye brow.

***

Dominar  entered the club from the back door, as usual; only his back door was straight into the managers office.  He so loved startling the old fart.  “Just a social call, no need to get your briefs in a bunch.”  He walked out of the office and heard an audible sigh of relief from the manager.  Laughing to himself he went to the elevator that would take him to the upper level of the club.  He really appreciated the fact that the music wasn’t as loud nor the lights as bright up here.  He stepped out into the club, and found himself staring.  It was the magnetic pull of the most perfectly shaped ass wrapped in shimmering white spandex.  He felt like a moth being drawn to the flame.  The closer he got the more he realized he could see….heaven.  He moved silently and placed a hand on the railing on either side of her, successfully trapping her within the circle of his arms and whispered in her ear “If I said you have a beautiful bootie, would you hold it against me…?”

She dropped her concentration on the crowd and started laughing.  “You owe me dinner, Veg.”

Looking to his right he realized who his siren in spandex had been talking to. Damn. “When did you get here?” slipped out before he realized that he had been too engrossed in stalking her to realize where he was.

“Wow. Didn’t know surfer dudes listen to country music.”  Vega was laughing his ass off.

Dominar was getting more irked by the minute.  First by the fact that once again Vega had been witness to one of the cheesiest lines he just about never used, and second to the fact that the only tush in creation to make him forget everything around him belonged to the Guardian.  Neither thought brought any relief to his raging erection, which he felt the sudden urge to slide up against her delectable ass.  So he did.  Slowly he pressed himself into the tight crack between her cheeks.  The silky spandex of her dress easily giving way, proving that she wore nothing underneath, making him swell even more.

With a startled gasp, she stood straight and spun around in the circle of his arms, coming nose-to-nose with him.  What was it about this guy that brought out the bitch in her?  She didn’t know whether to throw her drink in his face, or run her tongue around those wonderful, smirking lips.  Being impulsive was just not in her nature, but with the memory of his heat still burning her backside, something inside her snapped.  She unconsciously ran her tongue across her upper lip, drawing his attention from her eyes.  She moved slightly forward and captured his mouth with hers.  The shock of his soft lips parting, pulling her into him, setting her adrift, mindless.  Maybe….not…..good…..idea….  Her drink slipped from her fingers.

Dominar felt her hands move up his shoulders and he straightened, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her closer as he deepened the kiss.  Pulling her against him, feeling her unbound breasts crushed into his chest. Her nipples hardening into twin peaks, stabbing into his chest; sending jolts of electricity straight to his cock. His tongue danced masterfully around her novice attempts, sliding up one side and down the other, only to pull back and flicker around the end of hers.  He slowly taught her the subtle nuances of the dance as her leg moved up around his waist, pulling herself closer to his erection and starting to grind on him.

Embarrassed coughing brought him back to reality.  Vega, looking slightly out of place, and very much like he’d rather be anywhere else “Maybe you two should get a room….?”  He looked like he was about to choke, trying not to laugh.

Dominar’s mind slowly cleared as he pulled his mouth away from hers and gazed down into her startled face.  The dawning realization of their position made him grin.  “How ya been, Angel?” Never before had he been able to get close enough to her to kiss her, much less have her leg curled around his waist.  His second thought was of where his hands were; cupping her butt and holding her tightly to him.  His fingertips so close, and yet so far. Just a fraction of an inch and …. damn.  Torn between hatred for Vega’s interruption, and wanting to drag her off to some dark corner like a caveman, Dominar slowly relaxed his hold on her, letting her body slide down the length of his, ensuring that she felt every last inch of the erection she had brought to life.

Feeling her feet back on solid ground, Nei took her drink from Vega.  Realizing that he was the one who caught it when she momentarily lost her senses, she turned back towards the railing slowly, trying to get her mind working again “Delphi! Get your ass up here!”  Her mental message went unguarded, but at this point she really give a damn.  She had to get away from him, and fast!  She adjusted her skirt and turned back to the two men as Delphi came up the stairs.

“Did I miss something?”  Delphi asked with a knowing grin.

Nei gave her a tight smile and turned to Vega. “List?”  She held out her hand expectantly and tried her hardest to ignore Dominar’s burning stare as Vega dug into the pocket of his leather jacket.

Handing over the scrap of paper with her destination he said “They’re expecting you.  Have fun.” Grinning, Vega stepped back to let her pass and get back to her duties.

The two men leaned against the railing, watching the women leave.  “You know, a simple ‘Hello’ usually works well…” Dominar’s grunt told Vega how far gone he was.  He turned to look at Dominar’s face, noticing the blank stare – watching Nei’s ass sway as she crossed the room.  “…it’s clean, concise, no-strings-attached…”  This earned him another grunt.  “…your shoe is on fire.”

“That’s nice.”  Dominar’s detachment from reality started to worry Vega. His stare was unblinking as he watched Nei gather her coat and created the portal.  Images of laying her on his bed, pushing her legs wide, and burying her face in her puss till she screamed danced through his head.  He stared as she slipped her coat on and opened the portal for the oracle.  Once the women had passed through and the portal closed, it disappeared.  He let the air out of his lungs in a rush.  He turned to Vega with a gleam in his eyes “Feel like going on a hunt?”

Vega chuckled and shook his head.  “Why hunt, I made their reservations.” flipping a second piece of paper out of his jacket, holding it between his fingers for Dominar to see.  “Shall we give them a head start?”

Dominar took the slip of paper and attempted to read it. “How much of a ‘Head start’ do you think is appropriate?”  Giving up trying to concentrate on Vega’s writing he stuffed the slip of paper in a pocket.

Vega grinned.  “I think a day or two should be sufficient.”  As he watched, Dominar’s face fell by degrees. He could tell the man was slowly digesting what he had learned, and patience was not one of Dominar’s finer points.

Two men approached from them the top of the stairs that led down to the main bar.  “Don’t mean to be rude boss, but who was that bimbo that Dominar just had in a lip-lock?”   Simon was never known for his subtlety, yet was surprised when his friend slapped him in the back of his head.  “What did ya do that for, Hawk?”   turning on his partner in confusion.

“When will you learn to keep your big, fat mouth shut?   That ‘Bimbo’ just happens to be the Guardian of the Oracles, 7th Daughter – and most beloved, I might add –  of Zeus, and all around ass-kicker of little dweebs like you.”  Hawk informed Simon.  “Do your fuckin homework, or at least visit the site once in a while.”  Hawk turned toward Dominar “Why did you stick me with this shit-for-brains?”  Without waiting for an answer he moved off towards the bar shaking his head.

Dominar and Vega looked at each other and collectively rolled their eyes at the antics of their minions.  It had been a few centuries since the two had taken the two races under their wing and decided to lead them.  The centaurs, being under Vega’s leadership, and the dragons were under Dominar’s.   They had primarily done it out of boredom.  Being pretty-much all powerful and immortal, one had to do something to do with one’s time – or go crazy.  A few of their brothers had gone this route, and all it had earned them was reincarnation – as bugs.  As far as Dominar and Vega were concerned, that just was not an option.

Among other reasons, and only grudgingly admitted, was the fact that they were able to help two noble and proud races of beings move throughout history and thrive without being noticed by humans.  There were many other races of beings that were either extinct or their numbers had dwindled to the point of near extinction.   Vampires being the one exception.

As Nei and Delphi Stepped through the portal, Nei reached out with her senses.  Detecting nothing strange nor threatening  she relaxed.  They had entered into the large foyer of what seemed to be a very large mansion.  The inlaid marble floors and highly polished woodwork that was everywhere spoke of money. And lots of it.

Delphi looked around “Where are we?”

“It’s one of Vega’s islands.”  she handed Delphi the slip of paper Vega had given her.  “He’s got a couple of them and has lent this one to us for the month.’

“I do recall saying remote, but isn’t a floating island a bit drastic?  And besides,  where are the hot-bods I requested?”  Pouting the oracle begins pouting

I’m sure they’ll be around – though not exactly human, I’m sure they’ll meet with your specifications. smirk.
